Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Cleanser Review

Hello My Lovelies,

Today I'm reviewing a DermoPurifyer cleanser from Eucerin, I was sent this by the lovely people at Escentual.com

My mum and I both decided to try the cleanser out to see the effects it has on the skin of a woman in her 30's and a woman in her 50's! The Escentual website says this about the Eucerin cleanser "soap-free gel cleanser eliminates excess sebum and removes dirt and make-up in a single step" so we were excited to try it.
Here's a picture of us before we started to use the product without any makeup.

Currently we've both been using the Eucerin cleanser for the past two weeks and we've both noticed that our skin feels silky smooth, but there aren't any major changes to look at. I have combination skin that consists of a oily tzone but also sensitive to certain ingredients. At the beginning I had some small spots on my cheeks on the surface of my skin and it looked a bit red but it seems to have begun to clear those issues up a treat. My mum mean while felt her skin was greasy and wanted a cleanser to combat this without drying her skin out which she feels it's done.

We both love that there isn't a scent, we're not fans of anything with a fragrance. My mum particularly liked that its a nice, quick and easy product to use- she can pop into the bathroom splash her face with water add some cleanser and wash it straight off, job done!

The ingredients in the Eucerin cleanser means that our skin wasn't irritated, dried out or felt tight after using! The size of the bottle is a good 200ml for only £9.00 which doesn't make it an overly expensive product compared to many.

This is us two weeks on again without any makeup...

I would definitely purchase this product again especially for my mum as it fits into her makeup removal regime perfectly. She also loved the sample of the Anti-Age Volume-Filler which she cant wait to purchase the larger size of.

Have you tried this product before? Or will you be purchasing it soon? Let me know in the comments below!

Till next time,
                    Tori.

Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour!

Hello My Lovelies,

On Tuesday night my sister and I spent two amazing hours dancing and singing along with Katy Perry! We saw her at the O2 in London where we had level one seating in the second row right by the stage, where Katy spent most of her time. Katy sang all of her classics including 'Kissed a Girl', 'Hot N Cold', 'E.T', 'The One That Got Away' plus songs off of her current album. As you can imagine in true Katy Perry style her costumes were just incredible and stage presence outstanding!

I've been really lucky to have seen many bands and artists over the years but Katy Perry is by far the best! She spends time chatting with the audience and interacts with as many as she can in such a vast arena.

I thought that this tour might be a little darker than the last but Katy did not disappoint with bright colours, cartoon caricatures, inflatables and emoji's bouncing around the arena.

I really hope that Katy comes back to the U.K next year and maybe play the Isle Of Wight festival-which would be incredible as that's my local festival.

Have you seen Katy Perry? Are you seeing any live music this year? let me in know in the comments!

Till next time,
                    Tori.

Treasured Beauty Products.

Hello My Lovelies,

This post is all about my most treasured beauty products, products I couldn't ever live without and in some cases I have cold sweats if I don't have them with me or I've not stocked up on them all!

The first product is my beloved Vaseline! I have Vaseline pots every where...in my bag every day bag, in my work bag, in the front room, beside my bed- absolutely every where! Without this product I feel lost, to the point that if I forget it I have to make a stop off at a Superdrug/Boots. I use it for my lips and I must apply it a million times a day that's just how much I love it!!

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo. I use this twice daily, it makes my skin feel super hydrated and soft and helps to keep those pesky spots at bay.

Electric Toothbrush. I had one years ago and didn't see much point and so went back to the basic toothbrush, then two Christmases ago my mum repurchased one for me and I have never looked back. It keeps my teeth fresh, clean and the dentist has noticed a marked improvement in how healthy my teeth are.

Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser. I've been banging on about this product for ages now and it's still my most beloved cleanser, I love that it's so soft and non abrasive to my skin.

So those are my treasured beauty essentials! What are yours? Let me know in the comments below.

Till next time,
                    Tori.

Mr Nutcase Custom Phone Case Review

Hello My Lovelies,

Recently the lovely people at Mr Nutcase (http://www.mrnutcase.com/asked me if I wanted to review one of their amazingly cool custom phone cases- I was so pleased that they had asked me as I've wanted to have a custom made case for my iPhone 5s for as long as I can remember, and probably even before I got my iPhone.
The Mr Nutcase website is so easy to use, which is great as I hate fiddly and confusing websites. You simply click on create your own, pick the model of your phone (they make them for all the major phone brands) and then you get to the fun bit...picking the layout and then adding each photo!! You can make images bigger to fit the box, rotate, add text or clipart-it's so nice and easy.
I ordered my case on a Friday evening and it arrived on Tuesday which is super quick if you ask me.

The quality of the phone case is amazing, it looks and feel really durable and the photographs are all very clear!
What I love about Mr Nutcase other than a clear and easy way to create your case is the pricing-they tell you the price before you create your beautiful phone case and so you know right from the beginning the cost, they also deliver worldwide for FREE!
As a special thank you Mr Nutcase is offering all of my readers 10% off with the code Thanku10, so what are you waiting for, get creative and make your phone case unique!!

If you use the code let me know what you order in the comments section below!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Southampton Blogger Meet Up!

Hello My lovelies,

On Saturday I got to go to my first ever blogger meet up, and wow was it a brilliant first one to attend! Organised by Alice at www.anniewritesbeauty.blogspot.co.uk and Amy at www.amzyinwonderland.blogspot.com all 23 bloggers met at the Orange Rooms the venue the girls had booked for us! As I've never attended a blogger meet up or even an event I was a little nervous, but these fears were soon put to rest when I got chatting to some of the girls. We started the afternoon off with cocktails, where we got to chat to each other and break the ice. Before too long it was up to the Tiki Lounge for lunch which we had preordered with Alice, the food was delicious and I would definitely recommend if you're in Southampton.

At the booth I was joined by beautiful bloggers Gemma(www.lipsticksandlashes.blogspot.co.uk), Marina (www.aretrobombshellsloves.blogspot.co.uk) and Ami(www.perksofbeingami.blogspot.co.ukWe spent the afternoon eating, drinking and discussing blogging.

After lunch Alice and Amy said a few words and there was a raffle with fab prizes, we then grabbed more drinks before goody bags were distributed. The bags were stuffed full of products from companies including Lush, Baptiste, Nspa, Beauty UK, Miners, E.L.F to name but a few!! I can't wait to start trying out some of the products and reviewing them all.

We all spent the rest of the afternoon talking and enjoying the atmosphere, the time went so quickly that it was soon time for me to head back to the isle.

Thanks to Alice and Amy for such a wonderful meet up, I can't wait for the next!!

Have you ever been to a meet up? Let me know in the comments.

Till next time,

My Blog has had a Make Over!

Hello My Lovelies,

A few weeks ago I decided that it was time for my blog to be given a face lift-it had needed to be done since I first started blogging just over a year ago, so it was long overdue!

I asked Steph from Bonjour Belle to redesign it for me, after a little hesitation I'm so happy that I decided to go ahead, I was a little bit nervous as I didn't know what I even wanted but I think Steph has created a beautiful blog for me (with a few of my idea's thrown in!)

What do you all think?! Make sure you leave me a comment...

Till next time,

Makeup Revolution Baked Blushes!

Hello My Lovelies,

As you all know I loved my first order from Makeup Revolution when I purchased the Iconic 3 palette! I made sure I put in a quick second order through Superdrug and three days later these little beauties arrived...Vivid Baked Blushes!

I decided to go with 'Make Love Instead' a peachy colour perfect for pale skin tones like myself and 'Bang Bang You're Dead' a beautiful pink which will look great for nights out!

Both are really highly pigmented and easily blendable, they both also look really natural on the skin. They are both so pretty in the pan and at £2.50 each a total bargain, I would even go as far to say that they are my favourite high street blushes! I'm so impressed with both, that I'm tempted to order a couple more!

Have you ordered anything from Makeup Revolution? Have you tried any of these blushes? I would love to know!!

Till next time,

Met Gala Gorgeous Gowns!

Hello My Lovelies,

Last night was the Met Gala in New York and so I've chosen my picks of the gorgeous gowns!

First up... Reese Witherspoon in Stella McCartney.
Would you believe Reese is 38! I love the colour of the gown and her hair and makeup are just divine.

Next up Emma Stone.
Emma Stone is wearing this lovely pink ensemble by Thakoon. I don't think pink usually looks good with red hair, but Emma pulls it off effortlessly.

Jessica Alba: Diane Von Furstenberg.
Jessica Alba's skin tone for this dress is just perfect!

And finally the most gorgeous dress of the night goes to Blake Lively
Blake wears Gucci to the Met Ball and looks esquiste!

What were your Met Ball favourites? Let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Mini High End Haul!

Hello My Lovelies,

As you all know I love to shop and high end beauty shopping is pretty darn exciting if you ask me! Here are just a couple of bits I bought recently, luckily enough some of which I paid with birthday vouchers. I can't wait to give you a full review of each when this silly cold I'm carrying around has passed.

I loved Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere that I bought last year, so when I saw they were releasing a velvet edition I knew I had to have it. Just look at that bottle!

The second item I've bought is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion. I've seen this on a few beauty YouTuber videos, so I went off and did a bit of research and I was totally won over by the uniqueness of each, look how amazing it is! The pretty packaging also got me (I'm a sucker for packaging!)

Both products are so luxurious, and ones I know I'll be saving for special occasions! I'm tempted next pay day or when I'm in London at the end of the month to pick up the Hourglass ambient lighting powder.

Have you tried either of these products or are you tempted to buy them? Let me know!!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Birthday Haul 2014!

Hello My Lovelies,

On Easter Monday it was my birthday!!! I was totally and utterly spoilt, so thought I'd let you see what I was gifted with!

My sister was super generous and bought me Mac New York Apple Lipstick and Naked Lunch eyeshadow. These are both shades that I've had my eye on for a while, so I'm really excited to try them out. She also bought me a Ted Baker bow make-up bag. Again I've always wanted one of these but haven't wanted to pay the high price tag.

My parents bought me a DVD that I've had in my Amazon wish list since 2012....The London Olympic BBC DVD. They also bought me this beautiful Chanel lipstick in the shade Dedicace.

My sister also bought me a Starbucks Candy Cane Christmas mug (they were available the Christmas just gone) and I couldn't get my hands on one, so she surprised me with the mug! She also bought me a Purple Heart pot to put my ever growing makeup brush collection in, a small Yankee Candle which I can't wait to use and some much loved mini eggs!!

My friend Manx from my Up North post sent me a voucher for Debenhams I think I'm going to spend it on the new Chanel Velvet foundation.

My friend Lynz (also in the Up North post) sent me the Benefit Skin Care Set. I've not tried any of the Benefit skin care products so this will be fun to experiment with.

My friend Hayley, her husband and my god children gifted me with Liz Earle Awakening nail polish, a beautiful floral mug and a local chocolate maker lolly. I also have some Liz Earle goodies coming from them.

And that my dear blogger friends is what I recieved for my birthday and what a birthday it was!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Things I'm Loving This Month...April!

Hello My Lovelies,

I thought I'd share with you the things I've been loving in April!

First up The Body Shop Bronzing Face Powder, it's a wonderful light bronzer and doesn't make my fair skin look orange, bonus!!

Next... Freebie tester size perfumes! A great way to test out a scent before you commit to buying the full size. I also love to throw these in my handbag or travel bag.

Next up... Mini Eggs! So very yummy but so very naughty, thankfully only around for a few months a year!

Finally: Clean Bandit Featuring Jess Glynne-Rather Be. I can't stop singing along to this in my car. I wish I had bought an Isle Of Wight Saturday day ticket to see them...

What are your favourites this month? Let me know in the comments!!

Till next time,
