Product of the Month...September!

Hello My Lovelies,

I can't believe its the end of September already and I'm bringing you another Product of the month! So September's product of the month is...Mitchum deodorant.

Currently I've used three of these up and I'm definitely going to repurchase it...why you ask? Well they have plenty of different scents including flower fresh and shower fresh and if you don't like a scent then there's even one without! It really does do what it says on the tin and lasts 48 hours though I've only ever worn it for 12 hours and it's done the job. Some deodorants can make me itch a bit if I get hot but with this brand I've never had a problem and a tins lasts me an age.
The price tag is a little higher than some deodorants at £2.99 but if you keep a look out at Boots and Superdrug you can usually pick this little beauty up for a lot less.

Have you tried this brand before? What's your favourite deodorant, I love trying new ones! Let me know in the comments.

Keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming giveaway!!

Till next time,
                      Tori.

Simple Moisturiser Review!

Hello My Lovelies,

I've recently been looking for a new moisturiser and when I saw that Superdrug had an offer on Simple skincare I decided to pick one of the kind to skin protecting moisture creams up.

I love the packaging and was one of the reasons I was drawn to it on the shelf, that and the price. I wanted to try a skincare product that wasn't going to make my bank manager cry when I purchased it, and at £3.30 it's not going to!

The cream is super light and a pea sized amount covers my entire face and down onto my neck. The consistency isn't thick nor is it runny and when it makes contact with your skin it doesn't take years to absorbe which is a great plus point for me. Another reason it's so ace is that it's not oily which is a big no no when I'm choosing a new moisturiser.

Overall I'm really impressed with the Simple moisturiser and will definatley repurchasing this when my current one runs out.

Have you tried this product before? Are there any budget moisturisers that I should be trying? Let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Wanderlust Tag!

Hello My Lovelies!

I saw this tag on the lovely Gemma's blog lipsticksandlashes.blogspot.co.uk and just like her I'm a huge traveller, I'm always planning my next trip away and so this tag was perfect for me!!

So here goes first question....
Your most treasured passport stamp?
In my current passport it has to be from my Caribbean adventure to Carriacou and Grenada. In my last passport it was my New York stamp.

Can you recite your passport # from memory if asked?
Erm.... No! Lol.

Preferred method of travel; planes, trains or automobiles?
Definitely by plane, though I hate take off!

Top 3 travel items?
Passport, money and sun cream
Hostel or hotel?

100% hotel, I've done the hostel thang and I much prefer a nice hotel room!

Are you a repeat visitor or do you explore new places?
I prefer to visit new places, there's so many interesting countries I want to visit and so little time to do it.

Do you read up on your destination (culture, history, safety) or do you wing it?
I am a total control freak and I love to organise and read up about every place before hand. I have a guide book on my shelf for every place I have visited so far.

Favourite travel website?
Any holiday booking website like expedia or ones that always have great deals like holiday pirates.

Where would you recommend a friend to visit? Name the city and why.The best City in the world has to be New York, I've only ever visited once but it stole my heart!! For a relaxed holiday it would definitely have to be Grenada, the most relaxed I have ever been!!

You’re leaving tomorrow, money is no option, where are you going?
OMG! That's so hard.... I would want to go every where but here are just a few! Australia, China, South Africa, Japan, Las Vegas....the list goes on and on and on- I just need to win the lottery now!!

Do you love to travel as much as I do? Where have you been in the world and what were your favourite places? Let me know in the comments!

Till next time,

Empties Number 4!

Hello My Lovelies,

Here are the products I've used up in the past month!

Yes to carrots face wipes- having used the yes to cucumbers (they were in my last empties) and hating them I didn't want to give up totally on the yes to brand and decided to give these a whirl! They are definitely much better than the last, for a start they don't burn my face, bonus! I've since purchased some different face wipes from the company but I will probably repurchase these particular ones.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush body wash- I've spoken of my obsession for this product before and it's such a lovely summer body wash that I've been using it again this summer, I've just finished it in time for autumn to arrive and my Body Shop items to come out.

Next up in my empties is the Superdrug calming floral mud mask- I love the face masks from SD, but this is my first time using this particular one. It's for a smooth and luminous complexion and includes rose oil, which is definitely the scent when you rip open the packet. It made my skin feel super soft and I could smell the gorgeous rose scent all day.

Liz Earle limited edition orange flower and chamomile cleanse and polish. I love love love cleanse and polish nothing has come close for me and I always purchase their limited edition ones- I liked this limited edition scent more than last years but for it still has a smell that maybe older people would enjoy so I think I'm still very traditional and love the original so much more.

Finally Mitchum shower fresh deodorant- I've been wanting to try this product for agesss and so when I saw it on offer in Superdrug I decided to give it a go! I won't say much as I have a blog post coming on it soon but what I will say is it's a new fav!!

So there are my empties, have you found any new products recently that you love or that I should try? Let me know in the comments.

Till next time,

Boots & Beauty Bay Haul!

Hello My Lovelies,

So I recently popped to Boots and picked up a few bits and then I made my first order from Beauty Bay and I thought I would share with you what I bought!!

From Boots I picked up Simple moisturiser with an SPF 30, I was on the look out for a cheaper alternative to my La Roche Posay- a review of this will be coming up the blog so keep an eye out for that!

Also from Boots I picked up a packet of the Yes to blueberries face wipes.

When my sister bought Look magazine and it had a 20% voucher for Beauty Bay I knew it was a great opportunity to buy a few bits from them in my first ever order. I decided to try Anastasia Brow Wiz eyebrow pencil, as I've had my eye on it for quite some time and it was in my last wish list. I'm yet to try it but I literally can't wait.

I was also looking for a wine coloured nail polish for this autumn/winter and chose this already discounted one from Essie called .........

I was really impressed with my order from Beauty Bay- from ordering from the website to it arriving at my house it took two days! Yup 2 days! I don't know many companies that deliver that quickly, I'll be buying from them again!

And that is my haul!! Have you bought any new bits and pieces recently, let me know in the comments.

Till next time,

Awesome August!

Hello My Lovelies,

I don't tend to do life up date posts but August was such an awesome month for me personally that I just had to share!

The month of August started off with a week in the sun in Malta with my mum and sister we spent the day sitting by the pool with cold drinks and evenings eating yummy meals out and lots of laughs.

As soon as I got off the plane I had a phone call asking me to come to an interview for a job that I had applied for just before jetting away on my holiday.
The interview went really well (I suck at them usually) and I was offered the job! They wanted me to start ASAP and so a week later I started working for my new company.

After seven years of working in education and wanting desperately to get into an office based environment I have finally achieved it. I've been at my present job for a month and I've loving it, I didn't realise how stressful the environment/people at my old job were making me and I've not felt this relaxed and appreciated for years!!

                                       Leaving flowers.

In August I also bought myself a new car, I had a Citroen C3 before and it was falling apart so it was time for a new one. It's a beautiful little black number that I drive to my new job in!

I spent the rest of August feeling really great, I read lots (reviews coming soon) booking excursions for my upcoming trip to Iceland and chilling with my family. Oh and I also bought my first pair of Nike trainer- which made me super happy!

I'm hoping that the rest of the year continues as well as August has! I hope you've all had a good month- let me know your news in the comments.

Till next time,

My Most Used IPhone Apps!

Hello My Lovelies,

I thought I would share with you my most used iPhone/iPad apps! These are the ones I couldn't live without and must use hundreds a time per week.

First up the most common:

I use and look at Facebook, Twitter and Instagram dozens of times a day- to think I've only had an iPhone less than year, I don't know how I lasted without these apps.

Next up:

My banking app- I love knowing how much I have in my accounts at the press of a button!

Next....

Blogger- This app is great for when I want to write blog posts on the go...I'm actually writing on it now!

Timehop- A new one to my iPhone- it's great to look back on years gone by.

Boots- This app is amazing especially as I love to keep my eye on Boots offers and the best way to collect points.

Facebook Messenger- I find it a bit annoying that to message my friends on FB I have to use an app-however it's a useful one.

WeQ4u- My phone won't ring 0800 or 0845 numbers, but this app changes them into numbers my phone will accept. This app will also queue for you and ring you back when you're about to be connected.

Depop- a quick and easy way to sell your stuff, much better than eBay if you ask me!

YouTube for watching all my favourite youtubers and my Debenhams Beauty Club app, collecting lots of points on my favourite makeup products.

And finally...

A Beautiful Mess, an app that allows you to create collages- I use this app each week to use on twitter showing what's been happening each week on my blog.

Do you own any of these apps? Which ones are your most used? I would love some recommendations.... Let me know in the comments.
