Product of the month...February

Hello My Lovelies

I hope you've all had a fabulous February! My product of the month is one that I literally haven't stopped using and that every time I look at it makes me feel super happy, my Sophie Hulme bag!

It's a lovely small bag that holds just the essentials including my purse, phone, a few beauty bits and my keys. Surprisingly I didn't have a small black bag before I purchased this, It's a bag that won't go out of style as it's a classic shape. I love the gold hardware and a special touch of the googly eyed charm.
It's quite a rigid bag but I think it will soften up over time which I particularly like! The bag comes with a strap that can be extended, I prefer to have mine on my shoulder so have it quite short.

I have a bit of an obsession with designer handbags so I knew it was only a matter of time before a Sophie Hulme bag was added to my collection and so far I love it and her designs, it also helped that I picked it up in the sales. I'm definitely going to be keeping my eye out for other Sophie Hulmes bags and she's also just launched a scarf range with Liberty of London that I would love to peruse.

Keep your eyes on my blog for future bag purchases!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Mini Beauty Haul!

Hello My Lovelies

I popped in to Boots and before I knew it I had spent all of my points, whoops! The two items I picked up were ones that I had kept picking up in store for some time and with the points burning a hole in my purse I decided to purchase them.

First up Soap & Glory Solar Powder a pretty double sided bronzer, one lighter and one darker. I've been swirling the two and dusting it all over to make my lily white face a little healthier in these cold months.

This item didn't actually come from Boots but from Beauty Bay. The Louise Young Mini Super Foundation Brush (LY48), I was originally going to buy the larger of the two but went for the cheaper option. I have used this brush a few times and it's become by far my favourite foundation brush, so much so that I want to buy some more from Louise Young.

My second purchase from Boots was the blogger favourite Bourjois healthy balance powder, this powder was on my drug store wish list for some time and after reading lots of reviews I decided to take the plunge and use my points.

Have you bought any new bits & bobs from Boots recently, let me know in the comments!

Till next time,

Library of Fragrance- Vanilla Cake Batter Review!

Hello My Lovelies

When ever you take the lid of a bottle of Library of Fragrance perfume you know it's going to be an adventure for the senses, each scent is unique and totally emotive that makes your imagination run wild.

I've heard lots of amazing things about the Library of Fragrance over the past few months, so when I was offered the opportunity to review one of the 300 scents available which includes gingerbread, grass and snow I jumped at the chance!

I chose Vanilla Cake Batter and I found the scent to be super sweet with an smoky inflection, I definitely felt the smell was true to life with the hints of vanilla and sugar and that oh so yummy scent. On first spray it's strong to the senses, but not overpowering. The longevity how ever isn't very long, personally for me it was approx two hours which is my only disappointment. You can layer Library of Fragrance perfumes up to create different scents that compliment each other and this can lengthen the time it lasts on your skin, which is what I did with mine.

I adore the clear glass bottle and it looks very chic on my dressing table. Sold for £15 it might seem high, how ever if you can find the fragrances on offer in your local Boots store usually two for £25 then it works out to be a great purchase, and addictive too- since I was sent Vanilla Cake Batter to enjoy I've also bought Marshmallow and Sunshine and there's more on my wish list!!

Have you tried any of the Library of Fragrance perfumes, let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                   Tori.

*The fragrance used in this review was kindly sent to me by Library of Fragrance, as always my thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

What's in my work make up bag?

Hello My Lovelies

For Christmas I was gifted a lovely Cath Kidston make up bag that I have since decided to use for work as my old makeup bag was falling apart. Here's what I carry everyday to work!

Kleenex shine absorbing sheets- I won these in a giveaway and are fab for when I don't have time to stop to use my face powder, they are quick and easy to use and definatly make me look less shiny.

When I do have time to add some face powder I use the Collection Lasting Perfection and I'm not impressed, it's pretty awful which is surprising as the Collection concealer is fab!

I have the worst dark circles under my eyes so I carry my trusty Clinque concealer, again I don't use this too often as I'm just too busy to touch up my makeup but I do love having it in my bag just in case.

Cath Kidston wild flowers hand cream is brilliant in the cold winter months I like to carry this as my hands do have a tendency to get a little dry.

Vaseline as you all know by now is my ultimate holy grail product and one that I can't live without! Aways with me, I reapply this many times throughout the day!!

What makeup items do you carry on your bags to work? Let me know on the comments!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Product of the month...January!

Hello My Lovelies

Yay! It's the end of the long, cold, depressing month I like to call January! My product of the month is... Victoria's Secret 'Victoria' fresh body mist. I bought this in duty free when I went on holiday to Iceland just before Christmas. It's my first ever Victoria's Secret product and when I went in to the store and saw that they did a body mist and that it had my name on I was super happy!

The scent is really subtle, sugary and fruity so right up my street, a day fragrance that isn't too strong (I can't stand that as I get headaches!) but easily wearable during the day and that I have noticed lasts for a good 8/9 hours.
The bottle is very pretty with the standard Victoria's Secret pink and black text and a bow near the top of the bottle and a bright pink lid! This fragrance is't cheap, I picked it up in Duty Free for £11.00 so I don't know how much it would set you back at their Bond Street store but as a treat to yourself going on holiday.

Do you own any Victoria Secret's perfumes/body sprays? Let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
                   Tori.
