Product of the month...April!

Hello My Lovelies

My product for the month of April is..... Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion!

This cream is a godsend during the long winter months, my skin can become super dry and itchy and the only moisturiser I know that works is Aveeno. I have tried and until recently have continued to try lots of different brands of moisturisers including Soap & Glory, Dove and Vaseline and each one haven't made much difference, and in some cases made my skin worse. I will always end up coming back to Aveeno. The main reason why...its lovely and soothing and can stop me scratching in an instant. I've also learnt recently that Dr's prescribe this to patients that are suffering from eczema.
I usually pick this is up in Boots or Superdrug when it's on offer for about £3.00 and the tube will last me a good few months, so over the course of a winter I might only use two.
Aveeno is now a staple in my beauty routine, do you use this product? Have you tried it before? Let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Face of the Day- Brighton Birthday Edition!

Hello My Lovelies

As you have probably seen from my other blog posts I ventured off of my island to visit Brighton for my Birthday. I wanted to share with you all the makeup I chose to wear....

Firstly I chose my favourite high end long lasting foundation the Laura Mercier Silk Crème Foundation and a new addition to my make up bag the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer.

Also new to my routine is the Gosh Prime n' Set Mattifying powder, great at keeping the shine away. Benefit Hoola bronzer and Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush.

I then used my new favourite eye shadow combo, Mac Naked Lunch and Burberry in Antique Rose.

The Anastasia Brow Wiz is my all time holy grail brow product, I don't know how I coped without it. My chosen mascara of the day was the Clinique High Impact.

I finished the look with Mac's Plumful and used a new lip pencil from Natural Collection.

All of the make up I decided to wear lasted all day without any touch up's!!

What are your favourite make up pieces at the moment, let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                  Tori.

What's in my bag? Spring 2015 Edition

Hello My Lovelies

I noticed that its been about a year since I last showed you what's in my bag. Now these are one of my favourite posts to read, firstly I love seeing what bag you all use (as I'm obsessed with bags!), secondly it might give me some ideas to put in my bag and lastly I'm just nosy!

The bag that I'm currently using is the Longchamp Pliage bag in brown, my sister bought this for me last Christmas and I've not stopped using it since I went away to Germany in March. I'm loving it so much that I've even packed away my Mulberry hand bag from my last What's in my bag post!

The Long Champ's are such a handy bag to have in any collection. Extremely light but very durable and just like Mary Poppins famous bag!

So here's what's inside mine...

My trusty Moleskine notebooks- great for my many lists (usually shopping ones) and for blog post ideas.

My ultimate holy grail beauty product Vaseline!! Water as I'm trying to drink more of it and some tissues.

My Cath Kidston makeup bag which is full of plasters, paracetamol etc & also my newest Mac lipstick Plumful.

My Mulberry purse that I've had for about three years and I absolutely adore. Ray Ban Erika sunglasses and my house/car key on my beautiful Mulberry heart key ring!!

What have you got in your bag, let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                   Tori.

My Ran Ban Obsession!

Hello My Lovelies,

With Summer fast approaching I wanted to share with you all a little obsession that I have....I can't get enough of Ray Ban sunglasses!

My obsession with this brand all started a few years ago when my sister bought herself a pair, I loved the way they looked and the quality and so I decided that I needed some in my life.

Now it wasn't as simple for me to just go and buy a pair online or from a local retailer because I have to have prescription lenses and at that point I didn't know of any where that would do that for me so I just had to be content at swooning over my sisters.

Then one day my friend told me of an optician near to where we live that stocked Ray Ban's and that would put my lenses in! Well she didn't need to tell me twice and within the day I had ordered what would become my first pair of Ray Ban sunglasses!

My first pair were the Club master and I loved them, wearing them at every opportunity for the next year. I then decided again after seeing my sister donning beautiful aviators that I haddddd to have some and so went back and handed over my hard earned cash for Ray Bans number two!

I then saved my pennies for a year.....PHEW! and then a few weeks ago after having my eye on a pair of the Erika's since last summer I caved and went and bought those too taking my Ray Ban sunglasses count to three!!

I think you'll agree that I have an obsession and one that I think I will probably always have, whilst they continue to create trendy, timeless frames I will continue to buy them. Though I am tempted if the opportunity ever presents its self to buy myself some prescription Chanel sunglasses!!

Do you own any Ray Ban sunglasses? Let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                  Tori.

High End Haul!

Hello My Lovelies

As you would of seen in one of my recent blog posts I was lusting over a few high end products and as you can imagine I couldn't keep them on my wish list for long and they soon found their way into my hands!

First up I decided to take advantage of the 10% discount day at John Lewis and invested in some of the beauty blogger raved about product Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation.

Next up when I was in Cologne in March I popped to their equivalent of a Space NK and bought a Burberry sheer eye shadow in the colour Antique Rose. I actually wanted Pale Barley but they didn't have it there nor in Duty Free so I went for another shade. I still was intending to pick up Pale Barley but it's been discontinued!

Finally once I was home from Cologne and realised that Burberry's Pale Barley has now been discontinued I decided to splurge on the By Terry Ombre Black Stars in the colour Frozen Quartz which has been on my latest wish list.

They even sent some little samples, bonus!

I think I now need to give my debit card a rest (well at least until my Birthday when I'm sure there will be another high end treat!)

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Product of the Month...March!

Hello My Lovelies

At last Spring is here, with that in mind my product of the month of March reminds me of Spring. A candle from Jo Malone in the scent English Pear & Freesia.

This candle was kindly bought for me by my sister at Christmas and I've had it kept in my drawer ready to use on Spring days. This month I've loved burning this on the weekends or on evenings when I've returned from work. As always Jo Malone candles are so luxurious and a real treat to use, I love the clear glass packaging and little label on the front.
The scent is fruity and florally and not at all over powering, as you probably all know by now I hate scents that are very strong as I always end up with a headache.
I'm hoping to buy another candle in a different scent as a birthday gift to myself as I'm now totally addicted to them.

Do you own any Jo Malone candles? Let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                   Tori.
