Product of the month...May!

Hello My Lovelies

Wow the end of May already how has that happened? A gift bought for me my birthday last month is my product of the month of May- one I'm loving so much I've almost finished them. The product I speak of is... Burt's Bees sensitive facial cleansing towelettes.

Having never used any Burt's Bees products I was really happy to see these from my mum & dad and couldn't wait to try them out.
The face wipes are a super soft cloth that's full of moisture and sweeps makeup away with minimal effort. I have major problems with finding face wipes that don't irritate my skin and these Burt's Bees ones are true to their word and are extremely gentle on the skin. Having a look online these wipes retail for £5.99 which isn't cheap but I would definitely repurchase these and have them in my stash.

Have you tried any Burt's Bees products, let me know in the comments!

Till next time,

Liz Earle 20th Birthday Celebrations!

Hello My Lovelies

When I received an email last week from Liz Earle inviting me along to their 20th birthday afternoon tea I immediately replied with a YES! Having been a Liz Earle fan for years I was super excited to see some of the new products that have just been launched.

The afternoon tea was held at their Isle of Wight store (the original!) and Brand Ambassador Caroline Archer was on hand to chat and to show us some exciting upcoming products. Caroline personally showed me some of the makeup and recommended the concealer which is now on my wish list and even asked for a little selfie!

There was lots of yummy lavender biscuits, sandwiches and bubbles and 20% off all products. Naturally I couldn't resist some more Cleanse & Polish and the limited edition 20th Birthday Liz Earle signature colour nail polish.

With the introduction of the new loyalty card it meant I could cash in my current one and so I chose a 50ml Cleanse and Polish starter set which was a nice bonus!

It was so nice to visit the Liz Earle store after hours and all the staff were fab offering demonstrations and advice, I love visiting as it's so welcoming and such a treat when I come away with my little bag full of amazing products.

What are your favourite Liz Earle products, let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Empties Number 7!

Hello My Lovelies

Now that long ago I was saying how I never ever have any empties to show you and here I am back two months later with more....

Liz Earle limited edition Cleanse & Polish- I'm a sucker for always buying these but when I go back to the original I always say I won't buy a limited edition again as I personally don't think they are as great as the original.

Johnson's baby shampoo- I use this for washing my makeup brushes. I always pick up a bottle of this when its on offer in Boots.

Aveeno and Boots Simple & Sensitive face mask- both of these products are staples in my winter beauty regime. If you haven't tried them you must!

Body Shop Coconut body mist- along. With the vanilla body mist this is my favourite and one I use all year round, though I do tend to use most of this on the summer months! When these are on offer they are a real bargain.

What have you been using up recently? Let me know on the comments.

Till next time,
                    Tori.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Concealer Review!

Hello My Lovelies

I love trying out new concealers, I'm always looking for the 'one'. The one that will cover my horrid dark circles, be a good match for my super fair skin and last all day.

Having never bought any Urban Decay products before I have to say that I was pretty excited about giving the brand a go and it came in the form of the Naked Skin Weightless Concealer. First up lets chat about the packaging, I'm a sucker for pretty packaging and this doesn't let me down- just look at that sleek silver lid and text.

Until I purchased the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless concealer I had been using the Nars Creamy Concealer, which was a lovely consistency but wow did it run out quickly- so I've also been looking for a concealer that doesn't last two minutes. I've had this tube for about two months and it's still going strong as a little goes a long way.
The info on the tube says a 'Weightless complete coverage concealer' which is pretty accurate, it blends really well and with some powder sets nicely for the day.
The Naked Skin is cheaper than Nars Creamy Concealer and so that will help when I go to repurchase. Do you own either of these concealers I would love to hear your thoughts!

Till next time,

Curvy Girl Outfit of the Day-number 8!

Hello My Lovelies,

Last weekend I went to Brighton for the day to celebrate my Birthday! Whilst I was there I used the wonderful back drop of the Brighton Pavilion to take some pictures to show you what I was wearing...

One of my new favourite dresses from Billie and Blossom at Dorothy Perkins- a lovely dark pink with white spots! I also wore Dorothy Perkins leggings, camel coloured boots from Marks & Spencer boots.

I absolutely love my Citizen watch which is solar powered!

I then used my current go to bag my Long champ and Ray Ban Erika's. I did have a jacket with me but it ended up being such a beautiful day I hardly had to wear it.

Let me know what your favourite outfit of the day is in the comments!

Till next time,
                  Tori.

What's in my make up bag?

Hello My Lovelies

I can't remember the last time I did a what's in my make up bag so I thought I was well overdue updating you all!

My make up bag is a Charlotte Tilbury one, a gift to myself last year. I tend to keep my most expensive make up in this bag, used on weekends, nights out or special occasions- how ever I do still delve into in the week, so here's what's inside!!

New to my makeup bag the Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation and Nars creamy concealer.

After watching Ms Budget Beauty rave about the Gosh Prime & Set powder for shiny skin I knew I had to try it. I also bought this little sample size of Benefits Hoola bronzer as I didn't want to buy the full size to hate it.

Depending on how I'm feeling I will use either Burberry eyeshadow in Antique Rose or By Terry Ombré Blackstar in Frozen Quartz. I also have my favourite eyebrow pencil of all time the Anastasia Brow Wiz.

Currently I'm using a Chanel Lipstick and Jo Malone Sea Salt and Sage perfume in my makeup bag.

What are you currently reaching for the most from your makeup bags, let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                    Tori.

A Brighton Birthday!

Hello My Lovelies

A couple of weekends ago I was treated by mum and sister to a day out in Brighton. Leaving the Island bright and early we got to Brighton for lunch time- where we made a dash for the lanes to eat in a cute little café.

We then took a stroll along the lanes popping into all of the amazing shops and boutiques, amazingly I just window shopped on this occasion. I did how ever do a little bit of damage to my debit card in Home Sense.....

We then checked out Brighton Pier though you couldn't see much of it from a distance due to the mist but it was still fun none the less.

I absolutely adored the Brighton pavilion and gardens it was so relaxed and looked gorgeous in the spring sunshine! My sister also took some photographs of me for an upcoming blog post, so keep a look out for that one!

The day went so fast before we knew it, it was time to go back to the station and travel back.

Have you ever visited Brighton, let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
                  Tori.
