Product of the month...February 2016

Hello My Lovelies

It's the end of February so here is my product of the month. It comes from Emma Hardie in the form of her famous cleansing balm.

I've wanted to try this product for a really long time and when ever I'm in TK Maxx and see an Emma Hardie product I pray it's this one so I can try it at a discount but it never is! So over Christmas when I made an order at Feel Unique and they gave me a free £10 voucher I used it to order this mini travel size.

Whilst I've wanted to try it for a long time I was a little nervous at the prospect of throwing an oil all over my face especially when it's only used to Liz Earle but I was extremely happy to find that it didn't feel that bad and didn't make my skin go crazy with breakouts!
I put a thin layer all over my face and then use the lovely thick cloth that comes with the balm to remove from my skin. The cloth is rougher on one side and then more like a flannel on the other- which is great for scrubbing away make up and then the excess with the soft side.
My skin felt super soft after use and so I've started to alternate between the Emma Hardie cleansing balm and the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish.
If you're on the look out for a new cleanser then I would definatley recommend this one and even better if you can get it on offer.

Have you tried any of the Emma Hardie products? Let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

I'm going to Vegas & I need your advice!

Hello My Lovelies

At the end of March I'm off to Las Vegas!!! I've never been and I'm beyond excited....this is where I need your help, I need all of your advice for this epic city!

I've booked a few things including the Grand Canyon and a couple of shows but I obviously don't want to miss out on a thing. Where are your favourite places to eat, drink and shop...What nightclubs/bars and shows should I try and see? I'm absolutely devastated that I won't have the chance to see Britney Spears as she is on holiday but I'm sure there are many are things to see and do, and if I love Las Vegas maybe I'll go back and see Britney!!

Leave all of your ideas in the comments and thanks in advance for all of your top tips!

Till next time,
                  Tori.

W7 Eye Dream Shadow Cream!

Hello My Lovelies

The beautiful lot over at W7 recently sent me over one of their new releases a beautiful creamy Eye Dream eye shadow.

This eye shadow reminds me of the By Terry Ombre Blackstar but you apply it with a wand rather than a pencil/pen.

A beautiful bronze that's ridiculously easy to apply and blend, highly pigmented and lasts for hours. I fell for the hype surrounding the By Terry version and it's sat for a long time in my make up drawer hardly used- now that I have this amazing affordable one from W7 I think that's where it will stay for the forcible future.
I applied this straight to my eyelid without any primer, though I will definitely like to try it that way next time to see if it changes the consistency. The bronze shine makes for a great day time colour but I would also wear this on a night out, maybe adding a bit more mascara and some false lashes. This eyeshadow is probably one of the nicest drugstore priced products I've used for a long time!
I'll be keeping my eyes open for more colours when I go next to Peacocks or TK Maxx next!

Have you tried any of the W7 Eye Dream colours- let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                  Tori.

Empties Number 11!

Hello My Lovelies

I'm back with another empties post just a mini one this time- though there are a few bits and bobs currently starting to pile up in my empties box.

This month I have an empty Body Shop's honey bronzer which I've been using every day for work for months and months- it recently gave up the ghost when the lid broke and I hit pan. This bronzer is in my repurchase list as its such a light non orangey colour and adds just the right amount of colour to my pale face.

I've decided the only dry shampoo I intend to use from now on is any of the scents from Colab. Firstly it smells great and secondly it doesn't make my hair feel extra greasy and stiff. I also love the fact that it isn't too expensive especially if you can get it on offer. Keep an eye out for an upcoming post about the most horrid dry shampoo I recently purchased.

Finally Rimmel's Lasting Finish Powder which I also hit pan on recently and I used up really quickly (so not sure its that great for value). I thought this product did an o.k job, I don't think I've found my ultimate drug store face powder as of yet so I won't be repurchasing and I would love any recommendations!

What have you been using up recently, let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
                      Tori.

My Top 5 Family YouTubers!

Hello My Lovelies

I've been watching YouTube for as long as I can remember and over time I've subscribed to lots of different people and themes but one of my guilty pleasures is to watch family daily vloggers! Here are my top five...

The Family Vloggers

The Schuerman Family-
The Schuerman's consist of Sam (who was raised between the U.K and USA) her husband Jay and children Phoenix and Lily-Bug they live in Lake Tahoe. I've been watching this family since they started, I've seen highs and lows, two babies, numerous animals and moves but they have still stayed the same down to earth, likeable people.

Daily Bumps-
Missy, Brian and their two cute little boys Ollie & Finn along with extended family live in Southern California. Brian recently just released an EP which went to number 1 on ITunes! They love visiting Disney and they've just hit one million subscribers so they must be doing something right!

Ellie and Jared-
A Morman family of four (Ellie, Jared and their two boys Jackson and Calvin) from Utah- family is their priority and they are by far the most generous YouTube couple I have ever watched- just watch their Christmas vlogs to see what I mean. Follow them as they begin to build their dream home in 2016.

The Hoellein Family-
Elder sister to Ellie (from Ellie and Jared) lives with her husband Joel and four children. Bonnie is the primary vlogger and edits all of the footage (which is rare to find). They love to hang out with Ellie and Jared, drive their huge four wheeler up in the mountains and renovate their home.

Cullen and Katie-
They live in Alabama with their daughter Macey-Gaines, have the cutest pets and are huge Alabama football fans. This Southern family are going to become a family of four later this year.

Make sure you go and check them all out!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

A few of my favourite things-Winter 2016!

Hello My Lovelies

I wanted to share with you all a few of my favourite things that I've been using the past month or so...

A recent purchase is this cute little pink Pom Pom with eyes! I picked it up in the Marks and Spencer sale for £4 and I've added to my Chloe handbag to give it a pop of colour. It makes me smile every time I see it swinging from my bag.

My Monica Vinader bracelet hasn't come off of my wrist since I got it at the end of December- I've never been into jewellery but this little rose gold bangle has helped to change my mind.

I've been wanting to try the Clarins lip perfector for months and I'm so glad that I was able to get a pack in the sale which included this shade. It's a lovely shiny lipgloss/balm that I keep on my desk at work and apply when my lips need a little moisturising.

My Mulberry coin purse has been a fab edition to my collection and one that I've been keeping for weekend use- my older trusty Mulberry purse had been used in the week for work but this little beauty is too good for that. It's extremly roomy with space for two cards in the back pocket and inside a few more cards and cash!

What have been your recent favourite items- make sure you share them with me in the comments!

Till next time,
