Product of the Month: April 2016- Rosie for Autograph Lipstick!

Hello My Lovelies

As you all know I'm in love with the eyeshadow quad from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (http://wonderfulworld04.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/new-in-rosie-for-autograph-eye-shadow.html) and now I can add her lipstick in the shade Silk Cami too! When I saw the colour I was a little nervous that it wouldn't be a good match for my skin tone but the brown nude actually compliments me surprisingly well. I took this lipstick with me on holiday to Las Vegas and I was obsessed, I wore it everyday without fail!

I love the magnetic lid, it's so satisfying to hear the closure and it's also something that not many other brands do. As always the packaging is the sublime rose gold. The price for this little beauty is £14.00 and I feel a decent price for the quality of packaging, the pigmentation and the longevity.

The lipstick is so comfortable to wear it has an almost lip balm feel and didn't dry my lips out like some other brands lip products do, this might have something to do with the fact its enriched with argan oil!

I can't wait to pop to Marks and Spencer this weekend to buy another shade!

Have you purchased any of the Rosie Makeup for Autograph? Share your favourites with me in the comments!

Till next time,

USA Bath & Body Works Haul!

Hello My Lovelies

I have been waiting years and years to hit up Bath & Body Works so once I got to Vegas I tracked down the closest shop and proceeded to spend a good hour sniffing allllll of the candles and trying to decide how many I could buy and fit in my suitcase. The day I visited the store was having a buy one get one free on all of the large candles and I also had a 20% off voucher which made all of my purchases extremely affordable.

I love all of the coconut and vanilla scents and so I got lucky with Waikiki Beach Coconut in both the candle and body spray. I also chose to buy a Warm Vanilla Sugar body spray as my sister bought this in the States a few years ago and I vowed to buy it when I got to visit. The Iced Pear Margarita body spray and Honolulu Sun hand wash also made it into my basket and they were 3 for 2!
Finally I chose the Watermelon Lemonade candle- super sweet and perfect for the upcoming summer.

I'm yet to use any of the items but you know that as soon as I have I will be reviewing them right here.

Have you had the great joy of shopping in Bath and Body Works, what are your favourite products?

Till next time,
                   Tori.

A week in Las Vegas!

Hello My Lovelies

I had the best week of my life when I visited Las Vegas last month. The week was spent walking, eating and enjoying the sites, here are some of my highlights!

At the beginning of the week we walked up and down the strip going in and out of the many famous hotels experiencing everything they had to offer from shops to restaurants...

I can't actually believe how much I walked and saw in those first few days it was so overwhelming.

On Easter Sunday I got to visit the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon which had been on my bucket list for years. I can't begin to tell you how epic it really was, it felt like I was on a movie set or what lay before me was an illusion. I don't think you can fully appreciate the beauty until you see it with your own eyes!

I was also lucky enough to visit Fremont street which was totally different to the Strip and I got to experience the 'original' Las Vegas.

Towards the end of the week there was time for a frozen cocktail by the pool and a visit to see The Blue Man Group (if you ever get a chance to see them go!) followed by dinner at Tao and a little bit of gambling!

We ended the trip with a meal at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant and seeing the most amazing show I have ever seen Cirque Du Soleil's KA- from the performers to the set I was blown away from start to finish. I wish I had seen it earlier in the week as I definitely would of booked to see another one of their Vegas shows!

Have you been to Las Vegas? What were your highlights, let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

New In: Liz Earle Limited Edition Rose & Cedrat Cleanse & Polish!

Hello My Lovelies

I don't think there is a brand I love more than Liz Earle, you might say that's a huge statement to make but I find ALL of their products compliment my skin so well and I have never had any break outs from their products.

My ultimate holy grail product is the Cleanse and Polish, I always get super excited when I hear a new limited edition version is about to be released.

The newest addition is the Rose and Cedrat scent a beautiful spring floral scent true to the rose fragrance but not over powering and with a slight citrus undertone. The packaging is just beautiful and looks so pretty on my bathroom counter!

As always the C&P creamy consistency is exactly the same you would expect from the original Liz Earle product. The Rose and Cedrat Cleanse and Polish is just as effective- as I always do I cover my whole face in a thin layer (one pump is usually enough), I then massage it thoroughly into my skin and then use a warm muslin cloth to remove my makeup. It's so gentle my skin always feels so clean and soft after every use. I never find it a chore to remove my makeup when I'm using Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish it's such a treat to use.

You can purchase Liz Earle online, at Boots and John Lewis so make sure you grab a bottle whilst you still can.

Have you tried the limited edition C&P let me know in the comments! Also make sure you're following my new Instagram wonderfulworldblog.

Empties Number 12!

Hello My Lovelies

I'm back again with an empties post and surprisingly I love all of them and can't wait to repurchase them! (If I haven't already have after a sneaky trip to Boots and Superdrug!)

I've used up two body washes recently and both are just lush! I adore sweet smelling shower gels and both of these from treaclemoon and Body Shop are just that, they are also both really moisturising!

I've not used the Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo shampoo before and I have to say it was pretty impressive- the scent is fab and made my hair feel extremely soft.
For the past few months I've recently been using Neutrogena moisturiser to help combat my oily skin and this seems to be doing the trick!

What products have you used up recently- let me know in the comments!

Till next time,

USA Drug Store Haul!

Hello My Lovelies

Las Vegas was insane and I loved every minute of it- I especially loved going into CVS & Walgreens to have a good look at all of the drug store make up products. I obviously couldn't not get a few items...

First up the blogger favourite EOS lip balm, I still have it in its packaging so I can't wait to use that ASAP!

I also picked up some of the Burt's Bees face wipes, I've had some before but they are quite hard to get hold of in the U.K so when I saw these mini packs were two for $8 I thought I would give them ago.

Physicians Formula was on my list before I went away so I chose this Argan wear bronzer- look out for a review on my blog soon.

When I spotted the Covergirl and Wet and Wild stands I wasn't sure what to purchase so I chose items I knew I would use everyday. I went for a concealer and powder which I have to say is my favourite item from my drugstore haul!

Have you ever tried any of these American brands? Let me know in the comments and don't forget to come and check out my Instagram account wonderfulworldblog.

Till next time,

New In: Urban Decay Beached Bronzer

Hello My Lovelies

Urban Decay have just released their new Spring/Summer 2016 products and they are just beautiful. From the range I couldn't not purchase the bronzer in the lighter shade Sun-Kissed a light subtle shade perfect for my pale skin!

Firstly let's talk about the packaging it screams summer holidays a totally chilled out on the beach vibe. It's light weight and comes with a really decent sized mirror so is perfect for travelling or throwing in your bag.

Whilst swatched it does look a bit orangey once applied and blended it is anything but- I can't stand the fake over done bronzer look.
The powder is really finely milled and soft it feels so effortless to apply, it also looks really natural on the skin and gave me a lovely glow. That being said if you wanted to build the colour for a more dramatic effect it would pretty easy to do.
I picked this up for £17.00 online it's usually £20.00 (some might find this a bit too pricey!) but for a product that you use so very little of to create a perfect sun kissed look it's worth paying the extra for.
So if you want to look like a bronzed goddess this Spring and Summer make sure you check out the tame from Urban Decay!

Let me know your thoughts on the new collection in the comments.

New In: Barry M Coconut Infusion Nail Polishes

Hello My Lovelies

I was browsing the make up stands in Superdrug this past weekend and I noticed these little beauties from Barry M.

Their new range of nail polishes are all infused with coconut water and coconut oil which are meant to hydrate and nourish nails! I loved the sound of the coconut and its benefits and I can't lie the bronze lid is pretty perfect too!

I picked up the shades skinny dip and bikini as they both seemed right up my street. I found that bikini (the green/blue) colour applied a lot easier than skinny dip  and wasn't gloopy. I'm not sure why skinny dip does this maybe I just got a funny one....

Both were non streaky on the nail and took two applications to get a nice strong look and a lovely high shine and they dried within at least five minutes which is fab!
I think my overall favourite is bikini (blue/green) and I would recommend this one if you were having to make a choice. They do cost £4.99 each which seems a bit high even for these but with 3 for 2 currently on in Superdrug I would be tempted to pick up another shade! You also receive a free #NOFILTERNEEDED make up bag when you purchase any three products!

Have you picked up any of the new Barry M coconut infusion nail polishes, what do you think?

Until next time,
                      Tori.

USA Sephora Haul!

Hello My Lovelies

I've just had the most amazing week in Las Vegas! I've had this trip planned for months so it gave me the opportunity to get a Sephora wish list together and then when I got to the USA I went crazy- I could of bought so much more but I did restrain myself a little... Here's what I bought!

For as long as I can remember I've swooned over the Marc Jacobs eye shadow palettes and so it was the first place I ran to when entering Sephora. I did um and ahhh over every single palette and could of easily of bought every single one but I eventually decided on The Lover and it's beautiful!

Both of these items I could of picked up in the U.K but as I wanted both and was on a bit of spending spree I picked up the Laura Mercier Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation and the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray.

Youtubers are always raving about the Formula X nail polishes and so I knew I had to pick one up too I went for this lovely summery colour in the shade Punch Line I also picked up blogger favourite Kat Von D and Anastasia Beverly Hills liquid Lipsticks in the colours Lolita II and Pure Hollywood. I couldn't resist picking up the new bareMinerals concealer too.

I was lucky enough to get the new Avocado Sephora face mask and in the new packaging and also the pomegranate one- I can't wait to have pamper night and try these out.

Finally after buying so much and using my Sephora reward card I chose the Kate Somerville ExfoliKate, Shiseido Power Infusing Concentrate all for free. The Marc Jacobs lipstick and eyeliner set was given to me for my Birthday!

I had such a fab time raiding Sephora I really was in my happy place! I'm already planning on making an online order, do you have recommendations? Let me know on the comments!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Boost Juice Event at WestQuay!

Hello My Lovelies

I love love love making smoothies at home with my Breville (you can see my post on it here...(http://wonderfulworld04.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/breville-active-smoothie-maker.html) they are such an easy way to consume lots of healthy fruit and vegetables. So when I was invited along by West Quay and Boost to learn more about their smoothies and juices I literally couldn't wait.

We were welcomed by the team at Boost and given some delicious samples which went down very quickly as we learnt all about the brand's origins and the health benefits of their products.
Boost began in 2000 in Australia by Janine Allis when she couldn't find any healthy fast food options for her and her family. The brand quickly expanded and in 2007 was brought to the UK by Dawn and Richard O'Sullivan, there is now a whopping 300 stores in over 20 countries and is continually growing!

I'm not sure about you but I always worry about what naughty ingredients might be in a smoothie or juice and this is where Boost is unique- their products are all 100% healthy and contain no artificial sweeteners! Which means you know that what ever item you choose off of their extensive menu whether it be one of the low fat smoothies made with their patented probiotic Low Fat Yoghurt or a Fruit Crush which is 99% fat free and 100% diary free that you are getting a healthy drink.

We then headed back to the booth with a bag full of goodies to create our own drink from the menu. It was pretty hard to choose which one to make with tasty names that include tropical storm, gym junkie, lean lemon squeezy or perky pine but I was drawn to 'banana buzz' as I love banana flavoured drinks and eat at least three a day!

My chosen smoothies ingredients include other than bananas; honey (I also have a sweet tooth!), no fat milk, vanilla yoghurt and ice. What's great about Boost is that you can personalise each drink so you can remove and add different fruits- I didn't fancy the dash of cinnamon so I left it out on this occasion. It was then given a quick blend and ready to drink, it took less than four minutes to make!

It tasted exactly like a sweet banana milkshake but without all the bad stuff and wow was it also filling- you would never ever believe it was made with yogurt and not ice-cream! I could easily get addicted to Boost and can't wait to go back and try some of the other amazing flavours I may even add an energy ball!

It was so nice to have the opportunity to get behind the bar with the lovely staff and try making my own super healthy smoothie! Have you tried Boost before? what's your favourite flavour let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
                   Tori,
