Product of the Month Of June...Mandara Spa!

Hello My Lovelies

I've used a few products from this brand before but I'm in love with Mandara Spa's scent Tropical Bloom and in particular their hand cream and one which I've been using lots this past month.

A beautiful floral fragrance with a hint of jasmine and ylang ylang it sinks in to the skin within seconds, there's nothing worse than a greasy hand cream especially if you're working. The hand cream properties include moisturising jojoba oil, smoothing rice germ oil, hibiscus flower milk and protecting vitamin E.

I keep this on my desk at work to encourage me to moisturise my hands more as I'm atrocious at keeping my dry hands cared for. I love the pump as it's easy to use and no fiddling with silly time consuming lids.
For £6.00 you get a whopping 275ml of product which means I'll definitely still be using this come the colder months. Pick a bottle up from Sainsburys or online at timetospa.co.uk

Have you tried anything from this range? Let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Liz Earle: The Island Wellness Spa Event

Hello My Lovelies

I'm a super fan of the Liz Earle products I've been using the Cleanse and Polish for many years and it's the only cleanser that I will actually use on my skin as it's so effective. Recently I saw on Twitter that Liz and her co founder Kim Buckland would be visiting my Isle (where the brand was founded) to launch their new Island Wellness Spa at The West Bay Country Club & Spa so I knew I had to be there to hear all the details of this exciting launch.

The event was held in a stunning marquee on the grounds of the West Bay and as you entered you could smell the amazing aroma of Liz Earle candles before we were warmly welcomed with champagne, elderflower water and canapés.

Before Liz and Kim took to the floor we were given the opportunity to mingle and discuss the full range of products with staff on hand to help and advise. We were also all given the opportunity to enter a competition to win lots of goodies.
Before long Kim and Liz excitedly introduced the new Wellness Spa at The West Bay Country Club; a beautiful location to relax and enjoy a Liz Earle facial, a juice in the bistro and a swim in the pool. Liz also discussed her magazine and new book which promises to give you all the tips you need to achieve beautiful, radiant skin in 6 weeks!

To finish we were all treated to a bag full of beautiful Liz Earle treats including the award winning Cleanse and Polish. I can't wait to book my first ever Liz Earle facial in the very near future and to share my experience with you all here on my blog.

Have you ever had a signature facial in any of the Liz Earle stores? What are your favourite products from the brand? Let me know in the comments.

Till next time,

Disappointing Product Number 6: Kylie Jenner Nail Polish!

Hello My Lovelies

A few years ago Boots used to stock Sinful Colour nail polishes- at first I went crazy for them as they were a brand from America and secondly they were super cheap and then they disappeared. So when I heard Superdrug were going to be stocking them and in collaboration with Kylie Jenner I was really excited.

I ordered the shade Komando a sheer nude which I thought would be perfect for work or a summer wedding. Granted when I ordered this polish I didn't order the top coat as I thought my own would be just as good, but even without this the polish was extremely runny and thin and took three coats for it to look semi decent. The longevity was shocking with only a couple of days before I had to remove it!
The colour and base cost £3 each and whilst they are pretty cheap I know that I can get a better quality nail polish with a similar priced brand like Barry M. I love celebrity endorsements but on this occasion I felt Kylie Jenner just threw her name at the brand, took the money but would never be seen dead wearing the colours on her own nails- and that's disappointing from a consumer and fan.

If they were to look at the formula I may be persuaded to try this polish again but for now I'm going avoid the rest of the collection.

Have you tried any of the Sinful Colour polishes? Let me know in the comments what you think.

Till next time,
                  Tori.

New In: Rosie Huntington Whiteley Cream Blush

Hello My Lovelies

You all know how much I love the make up from Rosie Huntington Whiteley for Autograph so I couldn't resist sharing with you the beautiful cream blush in the shade Camisole.

The cream blush from Rosie is the perfect nude with a slight terracotta undertone when applied to my pale skin. I needed to make sure that I really blended this in well so that I didn't look like I had muddy patches on my cheeks but it is a different shade then I'm used too.

Camisole would be perfect for those with a darker skin tone then mine or maybe as an Autumn/Winter makeup piece. I love that these blushes are a cream but turn to a powder finish and it sets on the skin perfectly.

The longevity of the blush is pretty amazing brightening my face for a good 8 to 10 hours and for £14 you can't really go wrong with this little beauty. There are lots more in the range, defiantly worth a popping into your local M&S and checking out what other gems there are.

Have you tried any of the Rosie blushes? Let me know in the comments what you think of the range!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

Empties Number 13!

Hello My Lovelies

Welcome to another empties post as always you'll find all of the products I've recently finished off and find out which ones I'm going to repurchase or maybe I might already of...

First up are these amazing face wipes that I picked up in Las Vegas- I had run out of my usual ones so grabbed these from the brand Studio 35 Beauty at Walmart as they were cheap and cheerful. They did a really good job so instead of leaving them at the hotel when I came home I brought the remainders with me.

Next the Liz Earle Eyebright and Skin Tonic- these mini's last a life time and are great for both travel and home.

The Extraordinary Clay shampoo from L'Oreal is a fab one that makes my hair feel squeaky clean and soft after using. I've already purchased this in the larger size along side the conditioner.

Finally a mini Elemis Hydra-Boost day cream that I received I while ago with a magazine, when ever I see them I make sure I pick one up for when I go on trips away as it's so convenient to throw in my bag.

What are your recent empties- let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
                   Tori.

12 hours in London!

Hello My Lovelies

Last Sunday I popped to London for a wander around the city. First stop of the day was a walk from Piccadilly to Primark in Oxford Street, popping into Whole Foods for a fresh juice and snacks. I don't usually go to the Oxford Street Primark as its always too busy but I was around for when the shop had just opened and I fancied a little look around.

Next it was time to hop on the tube and seek out Biscuiteers in Notting Hill for some sweet treats- it's the cutest little shop and if I had more time I would of stopped for a cup of tea!

Soon it was time to take a rest break over a Nando's salad before planning my next stop of the day to Harrods. I intended to purchase a Louis Vuitton Cles but once I had it in my hands I decided I just didn't like it enough to pay the amount they wanted and so instead I salivated over lots of others bags and made a decision on my next one!

Final stop of the day was to the London Sky Garden which has been on my bucket list for quite some time. Tickets for here are free but are booked super quickly and so a few months ago I stalked the page to get one. Stalking the page was worth it; the views from floor...were truly epic.

After a wonderful jam packed visit we headed back to Waterloo for the train back towards the Isle.

Have you visited the Sky Garden? Do you have any recommendations for when I visit London next- let me know in the comments.

Till next time,
                    Tori.

#TheBloggersSnailMail- Meet Janet from Someone Somewhere blog!

Hello My Lovelies

I first met the lovely organiser of the #TheBloggersSnailMail Gemma from http://lipstickandlashes.blogspot.co.uk two years ago at a blogger meet up. Since we've not had the chance to meet again other than when we bumped into each other on a plane coming home from Malta (It's a small world!) but we have kept up with each other's lives via our blogs, social media. I've been meaning to take part in her #BloggersSnailMail for a long time and so when she tweeted about the next round I went for it. Read on to see who was my #BloggerSnailMail buddy...!

I was paired up with Janet from a new version of her blog 'Someone Somewhere' a super lovely girl from Leicester; a part time English teacher, feminist and book lover. I loved that we both shared an interest in books and we discussed what we were currently reading. We also both enjoy a good holiday! Janet hates chocolate (say what!), mornings (I totally get that one) and high heels (who can actually walk in those??)

I can't believe how fast the couple of weeks passed by and before long it was time to swap addresses so that we could send each other our chosen gifts and letter. After such a short amount of time Janet actually knew me really well and I was impressed with all the goodies she could get for our £5 limit!

Firstly I adore the card it now takes pride of place in my room, Janet then chose me a thriller book that I'm saving for when I'm laying on the beach next. She also knew my love of bags and gifted me a beautiful, colourful tote that has already been on a shopping trip with me. Finally Janet also knew that I love make up and chose to send me these bits from Clinque- I don't actually have any products from this brand so it's going to give me the opportunity to trial them out.

I've had such a fab time getting to know Janet, so make sure you go and check out her blog http://jbistheinitial.blogspot.co.uk/ and I urge you to take part in the next #TheBloggersSnailMail you never know who you might meet!

Have you taken part before? Let me know in the comments!

Till next time,

Spring Curvy Girl Outfit of the Day Number 14!

Hello My Lovelies

With Spring now here in full force and with a new outfit to share I thought a curvy girl outfit of the day was in order!

I absolutely love this outfit, I think that's because its so laid back and chilled! My NASA top came from Primark- a few months ago I had seen this in the men's department but when I went again last month they a ladies version so I grabbed it straight away as it was the last one available and only £6.00

My jeans are a hand me down from my sister as she bought them in a size to big but I think she got these from Peacocks. I then added my favourite jacket and one you would of seen before in fashion posts which I bought in Dorothy Perkins. My sunglasses are Ray ban and ones I've had for a couple years.

I love when Spring comes around and I can get my beautiful Mulberry bag out of storage. I try to use this bag as much as possible during the warm months, its such a great size and fits my everyday essentials in it.

My sandals were purchased in the Clarks sale last September and I've had them stored away for the good weather here in the U.K. I actually also took these to Las Vegas and they were so comfortable, I walked the strip in these sandals without any blisters, yippee!

What are your go to Spring outfits, make sure you share them with me in the comments!

Till next time,
                     Tori.

New In: Bed Head Fully Loaded!

Hello My Lovelies

I love it when there's a new release from Bed Head, their products are always amazing quality so when the new Fully Loaded shampoo and conditioner popped through my door I couldn't wait to try it out!

Do you lack a bit of oomph to your hair? Want to make it massive? Then the Fully Loaded products from Tigi available from today are the way to go!

The voluminising shampoo and jelly conditioner will revive limp hair with just one use. The products are made with the newest technologies, an active volume uploader that is released onto your hair to create a lift you can both feel and see.
I tried them both out on my lack lustre curly hair and it instantly revived my hair. What's great about this product is that the uploader technology also gives hair 'volume memory' so that the style created in the morning is remembered throughout the day. That means if your hair starts to drop due to heat or humidity all you need is to push it back up into the style you created to rebuild the shape! Both the shampoo and conditioner both had a lovely fruity scent perfect for the summer months and a small amount went a long way which always makes me very happy.

Priced at £12.95 for the shampoo and £14.95 for the conditioner it makes a great treat for your hair this pay day!

Will you be picking up these great new products from Bed Head, let me know in the comments!

Till next time,
