Curvy Girl OOTD 22: What should of been the Copenhagen Edition!

Hello My Lovelies

As you all know by now especially if you follow my Instagram (wonderfulworldblog) you'll know that I spent Easter weekend away in Denmark and Sweden spending a day in Copenhagen and a day in Malmo. Whilst the trip was fab, I love visiting new places it rained the whole time we were there which meant my lovely outfit of the day post had to be abandoned. Now I'm back in the U.K I didn't want my dress not be shared and so I took to the streets of my area to get a few shots and how beautiful is the blossom!!

This is has to be one of my favourite OOTD's that I've done recently as I love the whole look and the amazing photograph's my sister took of me. So now for where the items are all from....
My dress is a recent purchase from Topshop, I'm so chuffed that with the weight I've lost over the last couple of years I'm starting to be able to pick and choose where I pick up my clothes. This dress with a navy and white floral pattern wasn't cheap at £32 but it's one that I will get lots of wear out of especially during Spring and then Autumn.
My jean jacket I picked up in a charity shop for £3 after searching for the right fit and colour I almost paid full price till I spotted this one!

My boots are ones that I've worn in a previous OOTD and come from Sainsbury's. They are are so comfy that I've worn them every day for a good couple of months now-I'm actually a little sad that it will soon be time to put them away till Autumn.
My sunglasses are from TK Maxx and were an utter bargain at £20.00- I've not had a huge glamorous pair before and they have fast become a favourite of mine!

Finally my bag is from Saint Laurent which I treated myself to just before Christmas and knew would be perfect for the warmer months. Expect to see it a lot on my Instagram and blog over the coming weeks.

Let me know if you would like to see a what's in my bag post! What are your current go to clothes? Let me know in the comments or on Instagram at @wonderfulworldblog!

Hello My Lovelies

I just wanted to pop this post up ASAP to let you all know that Soap and Glory have a gift with purchase now until 9th May. The Beauty Flash pack has three full size products and has a combined value of £26.50!

So I hear you cry what's inside this little box of fabulousness? Well! It includes the uh-mazing Thick & Fast HD Mascara a 7-sided fan flare-180 brush which gives the wearer volume and intensity!

A Supercat black eyeliner pen and a Sexy Mother Pucker XL Extreme Plump which I personally can't wait to try as it gives collagen lip shine and the visivolume gives immediate effect lip filler- which personally my lips are calling out for!

The best part about this crazy deal is that you only have to spend £14 in a single transaction on any Soap and Glory cosmetics in Boots stores or on their website.
If you can't stop yourself spending more than £14 then I would definitely be picking up an extra set as a gift for a friend or maybe even my sister if she's lucky!

New In: Personalised Vaseline Tins!

Hello My Lovelies

I've been blogging for four years and in that time I've banged on about Vaseline over and over again- it's been a bit of a beauty obsession even before I was into beauty. My mum was the instigator, from a really small age my mum always had a tub of it with her and would pop it on my lips at every opportunity so as you can guess I've carried on the tradition of always carrying a tin with me.
Vaseline have now released the most epic product for fans like me in the form of a personalised tin! Personalisation seems to be the hot new trend and anything that has my name across it is a winner. It's the perfect gift for everyone whether it be your best friend; boyfriend or in my case my mum, it's bound to go down a treat!

As you would expect with Vaseline Lip Therapy it instantly softens and soothes while protecting your lips against environmental exposure. Over the years I've tried many products but I'm always drawn back to Vaseline as it's a brand I trust to be non-irritating, non-sticky and to give me highly shiny, glossy lips and I think always will.

The amazing personalised tins from Vaseline are available from personalised-tin.vaseline.co.uk for a limited time and cost £2.99 plus P&P.

Have you succumbed to Vaseline's new tins- if so be sure to let me know in the comments!

Clay Pigeon Shooting Experience

Hello My Lovelies

This past weekend was the birthday of an old friend of mine- she invited a group of all of her friends along for the day to go clay pigeon shooting and then have some lunch all at the local farm park. It was a beautiful sunny day and perfect for standing in a field learning a new skill!

I have never held a gun not alone used a gun before so I was pretty nervous going up to the first stand. Our teacher was super patient and put the gun in the right place on the shoulder and telling you where to put your face so you can see down the barrel of the gun. He also told us where we needed to be aiming for before giving us a chance to do a practice shot without pulling the trigger and then it was time to take the safety catch off and shout "pull!"

The first time went by in a bit of a blur and I couldn't really remember if I had actually shot the target but after a couple of goes the adrenaline coursing through my body calmed down and I was able to concentrate on aiming. Our package consisted of 35 clays so on this first round we shot at 10 and I hit 2 with the clays coming towards us.
On the second round they were going away from us and again I hit just three....By end of the third round which was by the far hardest with the clay coming from behind two bales of hay I found that maybe as a left hander I should of tried shooting on my left and not on my right (though it does feel much more natural to put the gun on my right.)

So on the last five shots which consisted of the clay rolling across the floor (like a bunny) I tried my left shoulder and I had a much better success rate- I look forward to going back later this year to practise on my left and seeing if I can hit more targets. I definitely think that this is a sport that takes lots of practise (unless you're the birthday girl and only miss 7- a pure natural for sure!)
It was then time to have a wander around the park looking at all of the locally designed cows which were amazing. We then went into the restaurant for burgers and chips to discuss how well we thought we had done and if we would come back again.
I loved the experience even after waking up today with my shoulders/armpits in agony, I'm not going to lie it was a struggle to get dressed this morning but that wouldn't put me off going and giving it another try.
Have you ever tried clay pigeon shooting before or something similar? I would love to hear your thoughts so make sure you leave me a comment or check out more photos from my day out on my Instagram @wonderfulworldblog.

Till next time,

New In: Avon Nailwear Pro+ Birthstone Polishes

Hello My Lovelies

Who doesn't love trying to find the perfect nail polish colour- I'm always on the lookout for the perfect shade and one that doesn't chip after two minutes of wearing it. I think I may well have found a range from Avon that meets my high criteria!

Birthstone nail polish is now a thing thanks to Avon- 12 colours for every month of the year including an emerald green for May birthdays, sapphire blue for September and come in a variety of textures, including pearls, shimmers and high density glitters. Each polish is the perfect shade for the month you were born in, or if you're like me you might just want all of them.

I have the colours Aquamarine for March which is a beautiful matte spring pale blue, Ruby for July and Topaz a purple/blue shimmer for December. They were so easy to apply and took a quick two coat application to achieve the colour below.

My favourite colour of the three has to be the vibrant ruby- no chipping for roughly 5 days and really shiny with a basic drugstore topcoat. Priced at £6 each at www.avon.uk.com or your local representative they make the perfect all year round polishes to share with friends and family!

Have you tried these polishes yet or do you have any from Avon? Make sure you share your thoughts with me here on Instagram at wonderfulworldblog.

New In: Tigi Bed Head Queen Beach Salt Infused Texture Spray!

Hello My Lovelies

I've lived by the sea for the past 21 years and I've always wanted to have surfer chick hair for as long as I can remember. I have frizzy hair at worst and curly hair at best- never beach hair! My favourite hair brand Tigi have just released a beach salt infused texture spray so my dream of having said hair might just be a reality!

Queen Beach is a brand new gel mist that is quick drying on styled hair, is non crispy (my favourite part!) and creates 24 hours of beachy textured surfer girl hair.
I applied it to damp hair and made sure to spray it all over my hair from the roots down to the ends. I then gave it a bit of a scrunch and then let my hair dry naturally. The end result was really subtle natural waves and high shine that really did look like I had been chilling down on one of my island beaches for the day.

Queen Beach incorporates Balinese sea salt which is best known for its rich mineral content and marine algae to stop hair drying out. I can't wait for the Summer months to be upon us as I can see this being a staple in my hair care routine. Queen Beach also protects hair from the harsh elements of the hot climate! A 100ml bottle costs £16.25 which is a small price to pay to look like a gorgeous mermaid. #keepbeachin

Have you tried any seal salt sprays? Let me know in the comments and don't forget to come and check out my Instagram wonderfulworldblog.
