What's in my bag December 2013

Hello My Lovelies,

Today I decided I'd write a post that I've never done before and that's a What's in my bag post! I love reading and watching YouTube video's that have this title and I think they are pretty popular so here's mine.

My bag of choice at the moment is a Michael Kors black soft leather and chain bag and I love it- I wrote about it my favourites last month and I will continue to use it till the good weather of spring returns and I can get out my Mulberry bag.

My purse is a Mulberry purse that I bought in the sale a few years ago, it's such a great purse as it holds all of my essentials but I can't overfill it! I also have my keys which have my house key and car key on it and the keyring is a black Mulberry heart that my sister bought me this year for my 30th birthday!!!

Next up I have my iPhone 5S in gold which is my favourite thing everrrr....and I thought I would never ever leave behind my trusted Blackberry-how wrong was I!! I also have my iPhone head phones for when I take the train to visit my sister.

I have at the bottom of my bag two lipsticks, 1 is a YSL Rouge Volpte and a Rimmel London Moisture Renew lipstick in "MY" shade As You Want Victoria. Continuing with the beauty theme I have my most beloved product my Vaseline, I have these every where one in my bag, one beside my bed, one in the front room, one in my work bag, one in the car and so on- I can not live without it and I feel panicky if I for some reason forget it!! I finally have some tissues and paracetamol; Since I was very young I have suffered with migraines, luckily as I have got older they have got a lot less frequent and don't interrupt my life as much but I do feel the need to have some on me just in case.

Happy Birthday To Me!!

Hello My Lovelies,
Warning this post is photo heavy....

It was my big 30th birthday on Sunday!

I spent the weekend at my sisters and thought I'd treat myself and travel 1st class on the train which is something I have never done before, it was so nice as it was a Friday evening and all the carriages were crazy busy except for 1st class which was nice and chilled-I'm definitely going to do it again.

My wonderful spacious seat with complimentary cans of coke and crisps.

 

On Saturday we went to Bicester Village, I looked at the Mulberry shop (my fav!) and also all the usuals Cath Kidston, Cosmetics Company, Kate Spade and I found nothing I like what so ever-my purse let out a huge 'thank god!' The weather was beautiful so we spent some time drinking a Starbucks and watched the world go by...

 

 

 

On Sunday we went and did some more shopping and had a meal and I was given some wonderful gifts, totally spoilt by everyone!

 

 

I was so excited and not at all expecting this 1st present that my amazing little sister bought for me!!!

 

 

Again from my sister, all of these presents have significance!

 

On Monday I took a big box of doughnuts into work and I was given a Boots voucher and a mug/coaster set by the team I work with!

 

 

 

 

 

I had such a great weekend I can't actually believe that I'm now in my 30's, it only seems like yesterday that I was celebrating my 21st at university-time really does fly!

2nd Wish List of 2013.

Hello My Lovelies,

I haven't written a wish list in a while so thought I'd add a few more things I'd love to purchase this year....if only money grew on trees!!

Firstly.....

Orca Bay Deck Shoes- To be honest I would love any of the colours but I think my favourite is the pink. Last summer I bought some Sebago Bala's (the ones Kate Middleton wears) and they were really nice and I'll be wearing them again this year but I thought these were just super cute and I wantttttt them!

Next up.... Real Techniques limited edition brushes.

 

There's not much to say really other than I love the current brushes.

Next thing I would love to buy is..... Navy Converse.

I already have Converse in white and I've just bought a soft pink pair but I really want a navy pair to add to my collection.

And finally on my 2nd wish list of 2013 is.....Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation.

I've heard really great things about this foundation and I would love to add it to my collection of favourite foundations.

 

Have you got any of the above products are they worth all the hype?

What I got for Christmas 2012.

Hello my lovelies!
So whilst this might be well over due (we now are well into January) I thought I would share with you what I got for Christmas this year! I was throughly spoilt this year as all years-here's just a few of the things I was gifted...

Tangle Teaser: I got a small one as I already have the normal sized one for every day use. This small one is going to come on holidays with me. I love the print that is on this Tangle Teaser so cute and will fit nicely in my bag.

Belfast travel book: I'm off to Belfast next month for a very special birthday (I won't reveal the number as it depresses me wayyyy to much) my family have spilt the cost of my flights, hotel and activities for my birthday gift which is amazing and this book will totally come in handy.

Electric Toothbrush: I had one when I was much younger and for some reason I stopped using it and went back to a bog standard toothbrush. Well for years my mum has been trying to get me to get an electric toothbrush and well...I just haven't-so she gave up waiting and got me one. After using it since Christmas day I don't think I will ever go back to a 'normal' brush again as it makes my teeth feel super duper clean and it has a handy little 2 minute timer!

Lush goodies: You can't go wrong with lots of Christmas Lush products.

Perfume travel atomiser: I've been wanting one of these for ages and lo and behold my brilliant sister knew to get me one. Again perfect for all the holidays I love to go on.

Love Sweet Love sign: I really like the saying Love Sweet Love and again my sister knew this about me so got a company to write this onto a sign (made of wood) which now takes pride of place in my bedroom. Such a lovely thoughtful gift!

Finally something I have wanted, you could almost say needed in my life for some time now..... A Mulberry bag!!! As I said before I have a big birthday coming up this year so my parents offered to give me some money for Christmas/Birthday towards a Mulberry bag. I went and chose it at Shepton Mallet at the beginning of December and I have to say I'm in love-the quality of the leather is just exquisite and is something I can use and have forever. Do any of you have a Mulberry bag or purse? Would anybody like me to do a post on what's in my Mulberry??
