This post is all about my all time favourite European cities that I have visited- My sister and I love to travel we've been to loads of places all over the world both together and separately with our friends. The next couple of posts will be about my 2 most enjoyed cities!
First up is PARIS!
I first went to Paris with a school trip in year 9 in the middle of July-now July in Paris is ridiculously hot and it was horrid. We traipsed round the city/Disney and it was so hot people were fainting and I thought at that young age I don't know if I ever want to come here again. Then in 2011 my sister and I decided that we wanted to go to Paris and visit all the sites....
My sister & I at the Champs Elysees.
We stayed at a really cute hotel near to the Eiffel Tower and used the world famous hop on hop off buses to get around the city, though we did use the metro too which was nice and easy to use.
When we travelled to Paris it was spring time and for me the best time to visit as I could wear my blazers on the sunnier days and a winter coat for the colder days, I also wore comfortable shoes for all the walking!
Paris was so different this time I loved the Eiffel Tower especially at night it was so magical! When I came to Paris as a teen the Eiffel Tower was closed as the workers were on a strike, so this time I made sure I got to go up and take in the view across all of Paris (it was a bit windy and I'm scared of heights but it was 100% worth it!)
Eiffel Tower at night.
We had lunch by the river Seine and I got to have a go at using my very basic French (well I had to try didn't I!) and then walked along to Notre Dame Cathedral which was just beautiful and was built in 1163,amazing!
Notre Dame Cathedral.
Then we went to the Louvre to check out the Mona Lisa-it was a bit of a scramble to see her but we did eventually get to see the famous Leonardo Da Vinci painting.
In the evening we popped along to check out the Moulin Rouge building (not the show, too pricey and the reviews weren't all that good!)
The only place I didn't get to visit; because at the time I didn't know exist was the Love Bridge, where all the padlocks are! I really hope to go back to Paris so I will get to see this next time. I also really want to make sure I pick up some French beauty bits and bobs...
I have to say I'm so glad that I decided to go back to Paris as an adult and NOT in summer, that's some thing I would never do-even Parisians spend the summer by the beach! Paris totally lived up to the hopes I had for it and more.
Have you visited Paris? What did you think of the city, I would love to hear your thoughts!
Next time Berlin!

I went to France on a school trip too, although not for Disney Land, it was more of a history trip, we went to Normany to see the beach and the trenches, was great. We only had the one day in Paris and it was lovely. The eiffle tower is a little scary to be on, but the view is beautiful! Lovely post, very unique!

I really want to go to Paris! I always get so jealous when people post about it! I've only been abroad once, to Rome, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Something I won't forget in a hurry seeing as I got engaged there! Looking forward to Berlin :)
