A Mini January Sales Haul!

Hello My Lovelies

So each year I always have a look at the January sales to see what there is about and every year I always wish I put some extra cash by to pick up some bargains. This year was absolutely no different and so only a few items made their way home with me. Read on to see what I chose...

First up are the most amazingly soft leather boots from Topshop-I spotted them and straight away fell in love with the square front, then I saw the slight v at the top, a small but nice every day heel and the softness I knew I had to try them on. They are actually a size to big for me but felt pretty comfy and since I've bought them I've added a fluffy insole which have made them pretty much the perfect boot.

This top I spotted in Matalan ten minutes before they were about to close on Christmas Eve- it is such a lovely material and the colours on Amour will be perfect to wear this summer tucked into skirts or with jeans in the evening.

Finally I picked up the mustard jumper and purple/gold spotty t-shirt in the Marks and Spencer sale- you literally can't beat their Christmas sales I always end up buying a few bits from them, the jumper was a £5.50 down from I think £19.50 and the purple top was £2.50. I also popped into Tesco and bought this black and gold sparkly dress for £9.00 I thought it will be perfect for next Christmas or possibly my birthday in April!

What did you pick up in the sales I would love to see your bargains! Make sure you share everything with me in the comments or on twitter @steaders83.

Till next time,

New In: Bed Head Urban Anti-Dotes Resurrection Products!

Hello My Lovelies

Winter is officially upon us and its almost like the hair gods at Bed Head could hear women across the country screaming out for hair products to keep their hair looking sleek and gorgeous during these months; because they've just launched a new shampoo, conditioner and hair mask called urban anti-dotes resurrection.

The brand have released this range before in level 1 and 2 but this range being number 3 is on a whole other level. The shampoo smells divine and really cleans the hair to the root without leaving it greasy.

The conditioner is a rich formula that has hydrated my hair and has left it shiny which is what you want in these horrid dull, cold winter months. I love that the conditioner is in a smaller bottle as I'm always left with way too much product and still using it long after the shampoo has been binned.

All of the products are perfect for anybody whose hair is in a real need of some love, care and attention. My friend who has bleached hair swears by this item and won't use anything else. My hair is frizzy and takes a lot to tame, I found the intensive conditioner a god send for my mad hair. I use this product once a week and make sure that I leave it on my hair as I shave or sit in the bath with a good book. I found the longer you left it on the better and healthier my hair feels after.

I can guarantee you that that their hair will be smiling when you use these products! You can purchase the range from Bed Head from as little as £15 for two bottles.

Have you tried anything from Bed Head? Let me know in the comments all of your thoughts!

Till next time,
                  Tori.

A Christmas Weekend in Canterbury!

Hello My Lovelies

Last month just before Christmas I went to Canterbury, my old university City to meet up with a friend (and her family) I met whilst we were both studying and for a couple of days of festive fun.

We stayed in the city centre so that we could easily get around which was perfect as my friend brought her 3 year old daughter along. We explored all of the little cobbled lanes and stopped for tea in the cutest little cafe.

On the second day we went along and experienced the Canterbury Tales museum which was fun as we had a guide that spoke us through each of Chaucer's stories and there was lots of funny naughty puns etc that made all of the adults laugh. I got the opportunity to show my boyfriend all of my old hangout spots and where I lived, worked and played. Even though it was freezing, we even saw a bit of snow we had the best time.

Have you been to Canterbury before? Let me know in the comments what you thought of the city.

Till next time,

A New Year Reflection Tag!

Hello My Lovelies

I thought I'd start the New Year with a 'reflection' tag. I found these questions online and thought I'd answer them over here on my blog.

1. Looking back on one memory from last year that you wish you could relive, what would it be? All the amazing trips I took with my mum and sister, in all we went to four countries together!

2. What was one New Year’s resolution that you accomplished? Getting a new job, it's something I should of done a long time ago but I always felt that I wasn't ready or capable.

3. Three words to describe last year?
Awesome, awesome, awesome!

4. Best music related creation/inspiration last year by an artist in your opinion? The Greatest Showman movie was probably the best film I've seen all year and musical for a long time-it was a shame that I had to wait all the way till December to see it.

5. What did last year teach you? To be the best you can be, keep going and good things will eventually happen.

6. What was your most worn clothing item of last year? My Sainsbury's black boots.

7. What are you hoping for more of this coming year? To continue to progress in all areas of my life including blogging, career and relationships.

8. What are you hoping for less of this coming year? Worrying so much.

9. Best book you read last year? Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine by Gail Honeyman.

10. What is your New Year’s resolution for the upcoming year? To carry on striving for the things I want in life and reminding myself that they are attainable! Oh and read more books!!

What are your thoughts and answers to the questions- let me know in the comments!
